At Toddler’s Morning Out, your child will enjoy fun activities with new friends, and you’ll enjoy a close connection to the professional TMO staff.  Below, get to know the team of teachers and learn how the two parts of the TMO Mission are enacted every day.

The Teacher’s Corner

“TMO Dough”

1/4 cup salt
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 cup water (with 2 tsp food coloring mixed in it)
1 tablespoon oil

* we multiply quantities x4 for class!

Mix all ingredients in bowl and then place a pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it forms a ball.  Turn onto a cool surface and knead it with a sprinkle of flour. King Arthur gel paste colors make great, vibrant play dough.  It is also fun to put in a few drops of lemon, orange, cherry, or mint oil to give the play dough a terrific scent too. It will keep for a couple of weeks in a plastic bag.

Have fun!

A fun place for kids to grow

To provide a safe, nurturing, play‐based environment that fosters first friendships and builds curious, confident early learners…

fireToddler’s Morning Out is a unique center for children that offers programs for toddlers from 18 months through 3 years of age.  At TMO, your child will experience, perhaps for the first time, social interactions in a group setting.  The fun, engaging programs, the thoughtful, caring teachers, and the nurturing, safe, play-based environment will help stimulate your child’s physical, social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

Your child will enjoy all kinds of activities at Toddler’s Morning Out, like painting, singing, reading, cuddling, riding bikes, dressing up, using play dough, blowing bubbles, doing arts and crafts projects, building with blocks, climbing on safe equipment, and playing with interesting tactile materials like sand and water.  Activities are created to be fun and social, helping everyone learn to play together!

Family away from home

To provide parenting education and support by working cooperatively with families…

This may be your child’s first experience away from home, and that’s why TMO works closely with parents.

Teachers recognize and respect that children are part of families that have diverse values and backgrounds – your choices will always be supported at TMO, making life between home and TMO as seamless as possible for your child.

Participation by parents in the classroom is always welcomed but is not required.
